ATM'r Extra Ordinary Gerry Logans Pictures
Gerry Logan is a telescope maker in the LA area who has displayed at the Riverside Telescope Maker's Conference for about 3 decades.  He is a retired professional optical fabricator, and uses unusual optical systems and machined mounts.  He does not design the optics; but often uses Walt Goldys for design work; and the Schupmann designs are from Jim Daly's books.

There are 18 telescopes in the directory; plus mounts, and images of some instructional pages.  175 images, total 36 megabytes.

The images belong to Gerry, and his permission is needed to republish them.

Gerry says that the Schupmann requires the most precision in fabrication, with tight tolerances, and very little room for errors; but he feels it provides the best correction among the various designs and is his 'favorite'.

-10 inch f12 Schmidt Cassegrain, Walt Goldys design, with Ross doublet correcting lens.
-8 inch f5.5. Newtonian Maksutov
-10 inch f15 Rumak, f4 primary with triplet corrector / barlow
-8 inch f10 Stevick Paul
-10 inch f6 Newtonian on a split ring mount
